“Slaughtered For Their Entertainment.” Crowds Gather To Watch Barbaric Murder of Jordanian Pilot On Specially Erected Giant Screens On The Streets Of Raqqa, Syria — And, Cheer When The Pilot Goes Up In Flames
London’s TheDailyMailOnline, is reporting that “a sickening video, showing cheering crowds of Islamic State supporters watching the barbaric murder of a Jordanian pilot on specially erected giant screens — also features a small child telling an interviewer, “I’ve would have burnt him [Moaz al-Kasabeh] with my own hands.” “Filmed in the terror groups de facto capital of Raqqa, Syria, the four minute clip is titled, ‘Muslims,’ Joy At Burning Of Jordanian Pilot,” and was released this afternoon.”
The DailyMailOnline reports that “the crowd can be heard cheering, and shouting religious slogans, as the airman goes up in flames, before an interviewer asks for their views on the atrocity. Among those questioned, was a child, who appears no more than eight-years old. He is seen smiling and vividly talking about the murder, while eulogizing about the Islamic State, and their barbaric acts.”
“The short video is filmed in documentary style, using high-definition cameras; and, contains logos and slogans associated with Islamic State-style media centers. It begins with a short interview — with a man who identifies himself as a fighter with the terror group; before going on to short exchanges with the local population. While the interviews take place, footage from Kasabeh’s original murder are seen being played in the background. As those interviewed are not paying attention to the video, it is likely the gruesome execution is being broadcast on a loop in the center of the city.”
“Even by the Islamic State’s barbaric standards, the groups latest execution video — which lasts 22 minutes; and, was also released yesterday afternoon, reached a newly depraved low. As with previous Islamic State videos featuring British executioner, Jihadi John, the footage is characterized by its ‘slick’ production values and graphics. But, unlike other Islamic State videos, – it contains an added cinematic dimension — designed to achieve unparalleled impact on the viewer — as if the horror of watching someone being torched to death wasn’t enough,’ the paper said.
The banality of evil — that’s what we’re up against. And, we didn’t put Nazi war criminals in our own prisons and judge them in our federal courts — and, we shouldn’t do so with the Islamic State. Guantanamo is too good for them. We need a modern version of Devil’s Island. And international, and isolated piece of ‘crap’ for an isolated island in the middle of nowhere. Bring back French Guinea.
